Staff CEO Support Fund - Ditsenolo Chiloane

Thanks to our CEO Staff Support Fund, initiated by Nazareth Care Africa CEO, Wayne Devy, we are able to further support our staff who are experiencing financial challenges during this time. Our Staff CEO Fund has been assisting many of our employees since the Covid-19 pandemic hit. This month we were able to assist a staff member from Nazareth House Cape Town, Ditsenolo Chiloane.

Ditsenolo is the sole breadwinner in her family and stays in Harare (Khayelitsha) in a 2 bedroom house. She is currently supporting her two brothers who have both subsequently lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ditsenolo further shares her home with the rest of her family including her 56 year old mother, 28 year old son who is currently studying at the University of the Western Cape and her 7 year old granddaughter.

Ditsenolo is solely responsible for all her families bills each month. She is also paying back a building loan which she acquired renovating her home to allow the rest of her family to stay with her, costing R1400 monthly.

Throughout the lockdown Ditsenolo was committed to working and caring for our vulnerable residents.

We thank you for your service to Nazareth Care and hope the funding assistance brings a smile to you and your family during this time!
