Many seniors remain comfortable in managing their daily needs and routines. Our Independent Living units ensure residents have access to support if and when required. The environment provides a safe and tranquil space to relax and enjoy social engagement.
Nazareth Care allows able-bodied residents to live independently, while still having access to nursing services and the benefits of a close community. Residents can enjoy companionship and care, while their families rest easy knowing that they are in good hands.
Independent living is ideal for individuals who can still live independently without nursing staff’s assistance, but enjoy having access to assistance when needed. The independent living lifestyle offers residents a safe living environment and convenient access to dining, medical care, entertainment, and more.
Our care workers are on-hand 24/7, eliminating the fear of “What if something happens and nobody is there?” that often comes with elderly people living alone.
Peace of Mind
Nazareth Care premises are protected by access control and gated security, allowing family members to rest assured that their loved ones and their possessions are kept safe.
A large portion of Nazareth Care’s daily activities revolves around communal areas. Whether our residents live in an independent flatlet or a room within the house, they will not lack companionship
Residents can stroll through our scenic gardens, or receive guests in our serene pause areas without feeling overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle.
Whether it’s a trip to the hair salon or library, or an outing to watch a movie or attend church; our houses offer many added amenities. This self-contained community allows residents to continue enjoying their favourite activities, even if they do not feel up to venturing off the grounds.
Living spaces range from single or shared rooms with en-suite bathrooms to independent flatlets with kitchenettes. Additional services available to independent living residents include catering, housekeeping, and laundry services.
Independent Living residents are able to perform everyday tasks, such as preparing meals or cleaning their home, although these services are available at a Nazareth House. Assisted living is for seniors who require additional support and assistance.
The cost varies depending on the type of
accommodation, additional services requested, and the resident in question’s specific needs and care requirements.
