donate to nazareth house

Support our Houses

Nazareth House is a Non-profit Organisation that incurs operating expenses, which are far higher than the revenues generated through ‘Board and Lodging’ fees and ‘Government Grants’ received. This is due to the subsidisation of child and elderly care, supporting outreach projects, and community work. Nazareth House is reliant on donations to ensure the sustainability and longevity of the organisation.

Nazareth House is a registered non-profit organisation (NPO 038-257) and a recognised Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930 002 374).

Where does the money go

Nazareth House is a registered Non-Profit Organistaion (NPO 038-257) and a recognised Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930 002 374). The organisation incurs operating expenses, which are far higher than the revenues generated through the ‘Board and Lodging’ fees and ‘Government Grants’ received. This is due to the subsidisation of child and elderly care, outreach projects, and community work.

Nazareth Care is wholly reliant on the income of donations, legacies, and ‘goods in kind’ to continue the mission. All donations, grants, and other incomes are a necessity to fulfill the shortfall and to ensure the sustainability and longevity of the organisation.

Certain Nazareth Houses are designed and operate to generate surplus funds. These surplus funds are utilised to subsidise and support those Nazareth Houses, Child and Youth Care Centres and outreach programmes which are at the heart of the mission. The reality is, however, that these facilities do not generate sufficient surplus to cover the overall monthly deficits, and therefore donations and support is needed.

When choosing to donate to Nazareth House, you may select the House of your choice. These funds will be directly allocated to your chosen Nazareth House. If you would like to support the organisation, which will distribute the funds whithin the organisation on a priority and needs basis, please select Nazareth Care.

If you would like to become a recurring donor, you may join our 20K Campaign.

In all our activities, we continue to strive towards remaining true to the founding mission of the Sisters of Nazareth, responding to the needs of the  times, specifically the most vulnerable within our communities. We are guided by our core values of Love, Justice, Hospitality, Respect, Compassion, and Patience, and continue to build on these values in a personal and professional capacity.

Your contribution is imperative in providing positive and much-needed care to the most vulnerable in our communities. We take our responsibility of guardians earnestly and thank you for supporting the vulnerable and enabling us to continue our Mission. God Bless.
