Laerskool Anton van Wouw Junior Choir consists of 50 energetic little angelic voices who are fanatical about music. From a young age it is important for us to have fun while learning technical aspects of music as we sing!

We strive to serve people who listen to us with our music…

May every note that Wouwtjies sings, echo far across the earth and invite people to listen together, regardless of their background. We dream of a world where music is the peacemaker of people!

Jacaranda Children’s Choir

The Jacaranda Children’s Choir (JCC) in affiliation with the Tshwane Youth Arts Festival, is an internationally acclaimed children’s choir. Founded in 1978, the choir has established itself as a national asset, representing all cultural groups, and acting as ambassadors for South Africa when travelling nationally and abroad.

The Choir is one of South Africa’s most successful choirs who regularly bring audiences to their feet with outstanding performances. JCC consists of singers between 9 and 16 years, representing some 45 schools within the Greater Tshwane Metropolitan and surrounding areas. The choir’s repertoire includes a wide variety of genres and styles that vary from classical music, jazz, light music, to folk music from around the world. The choir is conducted by Mr Stephan Gericke and accompanied by Neil Krog.

Singfonix

The name of the group is derived from the well-known musical term “symphony”. Whereas the term “symphony” refers to a composition for musical instruments, “SingFonix” refers to music where the sound (“Fonix”) is sung (“Sing”).

SingFonix is a male voice ensemble and was established at the beginning of 2017.

SingFonix offers a variety of choir music – sacred music, light classical music, contemporary music, and folk music from South Africa and around the world.

The musical message is one of love, belief, nostalgia and joy.

SingFonix is fortunate to be under the musical directorship of Dr Riekie van Aswegen, a seasoned and experienced choir leader who has conducted a number of well-known choirs.
