This year for Nelson Mandela Day we are asking Friends of Nazareth, supporters, businesses, and philanthropists to support our Mandela Month campaign. We wish for donors to contribute towards one of our high-priority projects at our Nazareth Houses to make a long-lasting impact on the vulnerable in our care. This can be done via a financial contribution, or a gift/service in kind.
Nazareth House Johannesburg
Our Nazareth House Johannesburg is in urgent need of updated cleaning equipment, as many of our current supplies have deteriorated over time. This significantly contributes to the health and well-being of our residents. The procurement of new housekeeping supplies is essential to the work we do. As Mandela month draws near, we kindly urge you to donate cleaning trolleys, serving trolleys, or lazy boys to our facility. During your visit, we invite your team to spend some time assisting the elderly residents, whether it’s serving tea, coffee, or lunch.
Nazareth House Durban
Nazareth House Durban is situated on the picturesque grounds in the heart of Berea. This year, we aim to make several improvements to both the interior and exterior of our facility. We invite you to join us during Mandela Month to help breathe new life into the building. Bring along your donation of paint (paint code: Botticelli E17-5) and enjoy a day of painting a small section of the facility.
Nazareth House Port Elizabeth
Nazareth House Port Elizabeth is located on the stunning grounds in the center of Gqeberha. This year, we are planning to make some enhancements to both the interior and exterior of our facility. We invite you to participate in Mandela Month by helping us revitalize the building. Please consider donating paint (paint code: TBC) and join us for a fun day of painting a small section of the facility.
Nazareth House Pretoria
Nazareth House Pretoria features a fantastic on-site coffee shop that enhances resident gatherings and social events. The coffee shop has become a popular attraction, providing a welcoming space for families and friends of the residents. This contributes greatly to the health and wellness of those under our care. As Mandela month approaches, we encourage you to consider donating an Airfryer or other supplies to our coffee shop. Join us for a cup of coffee and a sweet treat with our residents and staff.
Nazareth House Cape Town
Nazareth House Cape Town requires urgent upgrades to its kitchen equipment to ensure that our residents receive nutritious meals around the clock, every day of the week. During Mandela month, we encourage you to contribute by donating either a gas stove and oven or a 12kg potato peeler, and also by assisting in preparing a nourishing meal for our residents.
